What Does This Mean?
This verse tells us that many Jewish people who came to see Mary and witnessed the amazing things Jesus did, began to believe in him. It shows how Jesus' actions convinced them of his power and divinity.

Imagine if your friend could make a toy car move without touching it - just by saying some words. You would be amazed and start believing that they have special powers. That's what happened here; people saw Jesus do amazing things, and they started to believe he was really special too!

John wrote this Gospel around 90-100 AD for a mixed audience of Jews and Gentiles, who were already familiar with the teachings of Jesus. The cultural setting reflects a time where miracles and healings had significant religious implications.

When you witness someone doing amazing things out of kindness or faith, it can change your perspective about them. Think about how witnessing acts of kindness from others might make you believe more in their character and values.
