فَجَاءَ نَبُوخَذْنَاصَّرُ، مَلِكُ بَابِلَ، وَكُلُّ جَيْشِهِ لِمُحَارَبَةِ القُدْسِ. وَحَاصَرَهَا وَبَنَى حَوْلَهَا أبْرَاجًا تُرَابِيَّةً. كَانَ هَذَا فِي اليَوْمِ العَاشِرِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ العَاشِرِ مِنَ السَّنَةِ التَّاسِعَةِ لِحُكْمِ صِدْقِيَّا.
