وَتَمَّ خَرْقُ سُورِ المَدِينَةِ. فَهَرَبَ المَلِكُ صِدْقِيَّا وَكُلُّ جُنُودِهِ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيلَةِ عَنْ طَرِيقِ بَابٍ سِرِّيٍّ فِي السُّورِ المُزدَوَجِ عَبْرَ بُسْتَانِ المَلِكِ، مَعَ أنَّ جُنُودَ العَدُوِّ كَانُوا يُحَاصِرُونَ المَدِينَةَ. فَهَرَبُوا بِاتِّجَاهِ وَادِي عَرَبَةَ.
