فَجَاءَ قَادَةُ عَائِلَةِ دَاوُدَ وَحَاوَلُوا رَفْعَهُ مِنْ عَلَى الأرْضِ، لَكِنَّهُ رَفَضَ. كَمَا رَفَضَ أنْ يَأْكُلَ الطَّعَامَ مَعَ هؤلَاءِ القَادَةِ.
