«لَا تَقْطَعْ عَهْدًا مَعَ سُكَّانِ هَذِهِ الأرْضِ، خَوْفًا مِنْ أنْ يَدْعُوكَ وَهُمْ يَعْبُدُونَ آلِهَتَهُمْ وَيَذْبَحُونَ لَهَا، فَتأكُلَ مِنْ ذَبَائِحِهِمْ!
