وَدُعِيَ بَنُو أفْرَايِمَ لِلِاجْتِمَاعِ لِلقِتَالِ. فَعَبَرُوا إلَى صَافُونَ، وَقَالُوا لِيَفْتَاحَ: «لِمَاذَا ذَهَبْتَ لِمُقَاتَلَةِ العَمُّونِيِّينَ وَلَمْ تَدْعُنَا إلَى الذَّهَابِ مَعَكَ؟ سَنُحرِقُ بَيْتَكَ عَلَيْكَ!»
