وكانَ لَمّا تقَسَّى فِرعَوْنُ عن إطلاقِنا أنَّ الرَّبَّ قَتَلَ كُلَّ بكرٍ في أرضِ مِصرَ، مِنْ بكرِ النّاسِ إلَى بكرِ البَهائمِ. لذلكَ أنا أذبَحُ للرَّبِّ الذُّكورَ مِنْ كُلِّ فاتِحِ رَحِمٍ، وأفدي كُلَّ بكرٍ مِنْ أولادي.
