وَبَعدَ أنْ أزاحَهُ اللهُ، نَصَّبَ داوُدَ مَلِكاً عَلَيهِمْ، وَشَهِدَ لِداوُدَ فَقالَ: ‹لَقَدْ وَجَدتُ داوُدَ بْنَ يَسَّى كَما يُرِيدُهُ قَلبِي. وَهُوَ سَيَفعَلُ كُلَّ ما أُرِيدُهُ.›
