Mark 6:50
Arabic Bible ERV 2009
ما معنى هذا؟
In this verse from Mark 6:50, Jesus is walking on water toward his disciples who are in a boat during a storm at sea. They see him and become frightened because they did not expect to see someone walking on water. But Jesus immediately calms them by speaking to them and telling them not to be afraid.
شرح للأطفال
Imagine you're playing with your friends when suddenly, you see something that looks like it can't happen, like a superhero flying near the ground! You might feel scared at first, but then if the superhero talks to you and says, 'Hey, don’t worry. It’s me,' wouldn’t that make you feel better? That's what Jesus did for his friends in this story.
السياق التاريخي
This verse is from the Gospel of Mark, written around 65-70 AD by John Mark, who was a companion of Peter and possibly an eyewitness to some events. The original audience was likely Gentile Christians facing challenges like persecution and doubt.
التطبيق اليوم
Just as Jesus calmed his disciples when they were scared during a storm, we can also trust God in our times of fear and uncertainty. For example, if you’re nervous about a big test at school or a difficult conversation with your parents, remember that just like the disciples, you're not alone; God is always there to give you peace.
