فأجابَها: «ما بالُكِ تَطلُبـينَ لأدونيَّا أبـيشَجَ الشُّونَميَّةَ؟ لِماذا لا تَطلُبـينَ لَه المُلْكَ أيضا؟ أما هوَ أخي الأكبرُ منِّي؟ لَه ولأبـياثارَ الكاهنِ ويوآبَ ا بنِ صُرويَّةَ».
