وتغلَّبَ على الموآبـيِّينَ ومدَّدَ أسراهُم على الأرضِ وقاسَهُم بالحَبلِ. فقَتلَ منهُم ثُلثَينِ وأبقى على الثُّلثِ، وصارَ الموآبـيُّونَ عبـيدا لَه يُؤدُّونَ الجِزيَةَ.
