وقالَ الرّبُّ لموسى: «أجيءُ إليكَ في سحابَةٍ كثيفَةٍ ليسمَعَني الشَّعبُ حينَ أُخاطِبُكَ فيُؤمِنوا بِكَ إلى الأبدِ». ولمَّا نقلَ موسى إلى الرّبِّ جوابَ الشَّعبِ،

In this verse, God tells Moses that He will appear in a thick cloud so that the people can hear God speaking to Moses, which will make them believe Moses forever. Moses then reports the people's words to God.
