Genesis 38:29
Arabic KEH Ketab El Hayat (كتاب الحياة)

The mother named Perez, meaning 'breach' or 'breakthrough', because he broke through to be born first.

Imagine two friends racing to the finish line. One friend got his hand to the line first, but then moved back. The other friend then got to the line first. The winner was called 'First Across the Line', just like Perez means 'breakthrough'.
