This verse from Romans says that believing in Jesus doesn't mean you don't need to follow the law. Instead, faith helps us keep and understand the law better. Paul is speaking here.

Paul wrote this letter around 56-57 AD from Corinth. He was writing to a diverse Christian community in Rome, many of whom were Gentiles (non-Jews) who might have misunderstood the relationship between Jewish law and Christian faith.
