Matthew 21:41
Berber Morocco and Algeria - Tachelheit Bible (RBD) (aåaras n-tudrt - injil l-lmasiæ - løhd l-ljdid lli-iskr rbbi å-gras d-bnadm)
What Does This Mean?
This verse is part of Jesus' parable about a vineyard where tenants mistreated the owner's servants and son. The people listening to Jesus say that such wicked tenants should be destroyed, and their vineyard given to others who will produce fruit properly.
Explained for Children
Imagine you have a garden where you grow yummy fruits, but some naughty kids break your rules and don't take care of it. You decide these kids shouldn’t use the garden anymore; instead, you give it to other kids who promise to take good care of it and share the delicious fruits.
Historical Background
Matthew wrote this account around 80-90 AD for Jewish Christians. Jesus' teachings often came in parables that reflected common agricultural practices in first-century Palestine where vineyards were significant economic assets, and disputes over land rights were frequent.
