Da sprach Abner zu David: Ich will mich auf den Weg machen und um den König, meinen Herrn, das ganze Israel scharen, daß es einen Vertrag mit dir schließt - dann kannst du König sein, soweit als du irgend Lust hast! Darnach entließ David Abner, und er ging unbehelligt hinweg.
