Dazu ward er abtrünnig von dem König Nebukadnezar, der einen Eid bei Gott von ihm genommen hatte, und ward halsstarrig und verstockte sein Herz, so daß er nicht zu dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, umkehren wollte.
