¿Qué significa esto?
In this verse from the Bible, Paul is speaking to Timothy and saying that he is ready to die for his faith. He knows that his time on earth is coming to an end soon. This shows how important his beliefs are to him.
Explicado para niños
Imagine you have a favorite toy that you love so much; you're willing to give it up if it means making your best friend happy. Paul feels the same way about sharing Jesus' message, even though he knows it might mean saying goodbye to life soon.
Contexto histórico
This verse is from a letter written by the Apostle Paul to Timothy around 67 AD while in prison in Rome. It was addressed to encourage and instruct Timothy who was leading churches in Ephesus. At that time, Christians faced persecution for their beliefs.
Aplicación para hoy
Just like Paul, we can choose to be ready to share our beliefs even when it’s hard or scary. For example, if a friend is struggling with bullying at school, you might have the courage to stand up and support them, knowing it could come with challenges.
