¿Qué significa esto?
This verse describes the next day after Jesus and his disciples crossed the sea. The crowd realized that only one boat was there, which carried Jesus' disciples, but not Jesus himself. They noticed he had stayed behind.
Explicado para niños
Imagine you're at a big party, and suddenly everyone leaves except your best friend. You look around and realize where they all went, but you can't find your other friend anywhere! That's how the crowd felt when they couldn’t find Jesus.
Contexto histórico
John wrote this Gospel around 90-100 AD, aimed at a wide audience, including those new to Christianity. It was written in Greek and reflects both Jewish and early Christian traditions of storytelling and teaching.
Aplicación para hoy
Sometimes we might not see our leaders or mentors when we expect them. Like the crowd looking for Jesus, we can be left wondering where they went. In today's world, this can apply to a mentor at work who suddenly takes a new job, leaving us to figure out what comes next.
