Explicado para niños
Imagine you're at school during assembly time. Your teacher wants to tell your class a secret but decides to share it with the whole school instead. That's kind of like what Jesus does here – he starts talking to his friends, but in front of all the people there too!
Contexto histórico
The Book of Luke was written by Luke, a physician and companion of Paul, around 60-85 AD. The audience included both Jews and Gentiles interested in understanding the life and teachings of Jesus. This verse is set during one of Jesus' final teaching sessions.
Aplicación para hoy
Suppose you're at work and your manager starts sharing important information with everyone instead of just a few people. It shows that what's being said is valuable for all to hear, much like how Jesus addresses the crowd in Luke 20:45.
