¿Qué significa esto?
This verse in Romans talks about people who turn away from God's truth and start worshiping things that He created, instead of Him. It says this is wrong because only God should be worshipped.
Explicado para niños
Imagine if you loved your toy car so much that you started thinking it was more important than the person who gave it to you. That’s kind of what this verse is talking about. Instead of loving and thanking God, people are focusing too much on the things He made.
Contexto histórico
The Apostle Paul wrote Romans from Corinth around AD 57-58. The letter was addressed to believers in Rome, a city with diverse religious beliefs including paganism, which involved worshiping creation rather than the Creator.
Aplicación para hoy
Today, this can be seen when someone puts their job or money above God’s truth and values. For example, if an employee at a company has to choose between breaking ethical rules for better profits or following their conscience based on faith, choosing profit over ethics could reflect changing 'the truth of God into a lie'.
