Si Job ne peut même pas supporter la canicule que Dieu provoque avec le vent du sud, comment peut-il prétendre à un savoir sans faille? Les revendications de Job sont folles et irréalistes. Il ne lui reste qu'une chose à faire: cesser de prétendre à la sagesse et respecter Dieu. C'est pourtant ce que Job a toujours fait (1.1) et enseigné (28.28). Dieu lui-même l'a reconnu (1.8 2.3, où l'hébreu emploie la même expression). Debout, pour contempler les merveilles de Dieu!
