Hodočasnička pjesma. Spomeni se, Gospode, Davida i svih njegovih napora.

Kako se zakle Gospodu, zavjetovao se Snazi Jakovljevoj:
3
”Ne ću ući u šator doma svoga, niti ću uzići na postelju svoje ložnice,
4
ne ću dati sna svojim očima, ni drijema svojim vjeđama,
5
dok ne nađem mjesto Gospodu, boravište Snazi Jakovljevoj!”
6
”Evo, čusmo za njega u Efrati, nađosmo ga u Poljima jaarskim.
7
Uđimo u stan njegov; poklonimo se podnožju njegovih nogu.
8
Ustani, Gospode, pođi k svom počivalištu, ti i Kovčeg moći tvoje!
9
Svećenici tvoji nek se odjenu pravednošću! Nek se raduju tvoji pobožnici!
10
Zbog sluge svoga Davida ne odvrati lica od svoga pomazanika!”
11
Gospod se zakleo Davidu, vjernošću od koje ne odstupa: “Potomka utrobe tvoje posadit ću na prijestolje tvoje.
12
Ako tvoji sinovi očuvaju moj Savez i odredbe moje kojima ih naučih, onda će i njihovi sinovi dovijeka sjediti na tvome prijestolju!”
13
Jer Gospod izabra Sion, htjede ga za svoje prebivalište.
14
”Ovo je moje počivalište zavijeke. Ovdje ću boraviti jer ga zaželjeh.
15
Zalihe ću njegove blagosloviti, siromahe njegove kruhom ću nasititi.
16
Svećenike ću njegove zaodjenuti spasenjem. Njegovi pravednici će kliktati radosno.
17
Tu ću učiniti da izraste rog Davida, pripravit ću svjetiljku svome pomazaniku.
18
Neprijatelje ću njegove pokriti sramotom, a na njemu će sjati kruna njegova!”
