Romans 15:23
Italian 2014
Cosa significa?
In this verse, Paul is explaining that he has no more places to preach in the regions where he's been working for a long time and that he has desired for many years to come to visit you.
Spiegato ai bambini
Think of it like when you've visited all your friends' houses in one neighborhood but still want to go see someone new. Paul feels like he's done all he can do here and really wants to visit another place, just like wanting a playdate with a friend you haven't seen yet.
Contesto storico
This verse is from the New Testament book of Romans written by Apostle Paul around AD 57. It was addressed to the Roman Christians who were in a diverse community with different cultural backgrounds and beliefs.
Applicazione per oggi
Imagine planning a vacation for years but constantly facing unforeseen obstacles that prevent you from going. Eventually, when all those obstacles are cleared, the excitement of finally being able to go is overwhelming, much like Paul's eagerness to visit Rome after many years of wanting to do so despite previous limitations.
