子どもにもわかる説明
Imagine if someone hurt your friend really badly, and you felt so angry that you wanted to hurt that person back. That's what Simeon and Levi did, but it's not a good thing to do. We should always try to solve problems without hurting others.
歴史的背景
The Book of Genesis was written by Moses around 1400 BC. It was written to the Israelites, explaining their history and the covenant with God. At the time, revenge killings were common, but this story shows the consequences of such actions.
今日への適用
In modern times, we might face situations where we feel the urge to retaliate against someone who has wronged us. However, the Bible teaches us to seek justice and forgiveness rather than revenge. Instead of retaliating, we can report the issue to authorities or seek peaceful resolution.
