もしその父あるいは兄弟がきて、われわれに訴えるならば、われわれは彼らに、『われわれのために彼らをゆるしてください。戦争のときにわれわれは、彼らおのおのに妻をとってやらなかったし、またあなたがたも彼らに与えなかったからです。もし与えたならば、あなたがたは罪を犯したことになるからでした』と言いましょう」。
