그리하여 삼손 이 자고 있는 동안에 들릴라 는 일곱 가닥으로 땋은 삼손 의 머리를 베틀에 걸어 천에 짜 넣으면서 바디로 바싹 조였다. 그런 다음 다시 삼손 에게 소리쳤다. “ 삼손, 블레셋 사람들이 당신을 잡으러 왔어요.” 그러자 삼손 은 잠에서 깨어 벌떡 일어나면서 바디와 베틀과 짜던 천을 통째로 뽑아 올렸다.
