높은 제사장들과 율법 선생들과 장로들은 이 물음을 두고 서로 의논하였다. “만일 우리가 ‘ 요한 의 세례는 하늘에 계신 하나님께로부터 온 것이다.’ 라고 말하면, 예수 는 ‘그렇다면 어찌하여 너희가 요한 을 믿지 않았느냐?’ 라고 물을 것이다.
