지금 너희 나라를 황폐하게 망쳐 놓고 너희의 모든 성읍을 점령하여 파괴할 원수들이 벌써 진군해 올라온다. 지금 모압 족속의 젊은이들 가운데서 정예 부대로 뽑힌 용사들이 적진을 향하여 나아가고 있지만 그것은 오직 도살장으로 내려가는 행렬이요 몰살당하는 곳으로 내려가는 무리에 불과하다. 온 세상의 주인이신 여호와의 말씀이니 틀림없이 그대로 될 것이다.
