Aleluia! É bom cantar hinos ao nosso Deus! Louvá-lo é agradável e justo.

O Senhor restaura Jerusalém e reúne os israelitas dispersos.

Ele cura os que têm o coração atribulado e liga-lhes as feridas!
4
Ele determina o número das estrelas e põe a cada uma o seu nome.
5
Grande e poderoso é o Senhor, nosso Deus, a sua sabedoria não tem limites.
6
O Senhor ampara os humildes, mas faz cair por terra os que praticam o mal.
7
Cantem ao Senhor com gratidão; cantem hinos ao nosso Deus ao som da harpa.
8
Ele cobre de nuvens o céu, prepara as chuvas para a terra e faz crescer a erva nos montes.
9
Ele dá de comer aos animais e alimenta os filhotes dos corvos, quando eles chamam.
10
Não é a resistência dos cavalos nem a força dos homens o que mais agrada ao Senhor.
11
Ao Senhor agradam os que o temem, os que confiam no seu amor.
12
Ó Jerusalém, louva o Senhor, Sião, louva o teu Deus.
13
Ele mantém seguras as tuas portas e abençoa os teus habitantes;
14
estabelece a paz nas tuas fronteiras e alimenta-te com o mais fino trigo.
15
Ele manda as suas ordens para a terra e o que ele diz corre velozmente;
16
faz cair a neve, branca como a lã, e espalha a geada, como se fosse cinza;
17
faz cair o gelo em forma de granizo; e ninguém aguenta o frio que ele envia.
18
Depois dá outra ordem e o gelo derrete-se; faz soprar o vento e a água corre.
19
Ele envia a sua mensagem ao povo de Jacob, as suas instruções e as suas leis a Israel.
20
Ele não fez isto com nenhum outro povo, não lhes deu a conhecer os seus decretos. Aleluia!
