Meu Deus, em ti confio, não me deixes ficar envergonhado. Que os meus inimigos não me rebaixem!

Na verdade, os que confiam em ti não serão envergonhados. Envergonhados sejam aqueles que te atraiçoam por coisas sem valor.

Senhor, diz-me o que queres que eu faça, ensina-me a seguir os teus caminhos.

Ensina-me a ser fiel para contigo, porque tu és o Deus que me salva; em ti eu confio sempre.

Lembra-te, Senhor, da tua ternura e do teu amor, que vêm desde sempre.

Não te lembres dos pecados da minha juventude, nem das minhas transgressões. Mas lembra-te de mim, Senhor, pela tua bondade e misericórdia.

O Senhor é bom e justo; por isso, corrige os pecadores

e guia os humildes pelo bom caminho, mostrando-lhes a sua vontade.
10
Os caminhos do Senhor são amor e verdade para com os que guardarem a sua aliança e os seus preceitos.
11
Ó Senhor, perdoa os meus muitos pecados, honrando o teu bom nome.
12
Os que obedecem ao Senhor aprenderão com ele o caminho a seguir;
13
viverão sempre felizes e os seus descendentes possuirão a terra prometida.
14
O Senhor comunica os seus segredos aos que o temem e dá-lhes a conhecer a sua aliança.
15
Tenho os olhos sempre postos no Senhor, porque ele solta os meus pés da armadilha.
16
Volta-te para mim, Senhor! Tem compaixão de mim, porque me encontro só e aflito.
17
O meu coração aflige-se cada vez mais; livra-me das minhas angústias.
18
Olha para a minha aflição e o meu sofrimento e perdoa todos os meus pecados.
19
Repara como aumentaram os meus inimigos! Como eles sentem por mim um ódio mortal.
20
Protege-me e salva-me. Eu confio em ti, não me deixes ficar envergonhado.
21
Que a bondade e a retidão me protejam, porque pus em ti a minha confiança.
22
Ó Deus, livra Israel de todas as suas aflições!
