Da coleção de David. Clamo a ti, Senhor, meu rochedo; não fiques surdo à minha súplica. Se tu não me atenderes, serei como os que descem à sepultura.

Escuta as minhas súplicas, quando te invoco, quando elevo as minhas mãos para o teu santuário.
3
Não me arrastes com os malfeitores, com aqueles que praticam o mal; eles falam de paz ao seu próximo, mas levam maldade nos seus corações.

Recompensa-os segundo as suas obras, segundo a maldade dos seus atos. Retribui-lhes conforme as suas más ações; dá-lhes o que eles merecem.
5
Eles não fazem caso daquilo que o Senhor fez, nem reparam nas suas grandes obras; por isso, ele os destruirá e não voltará a restabelecê-los.
6
Bendito seja o Senhor, pois ouviu as minhas súplicas.
7
O Senhor é o meu poderoso protetor; nele confiei plenamente e ele socorreu-me, por isso me sinto feliz e lhe cantarei louvores.
8
O Senhor é o nosso protetor; ele defende e salva o seu ungido.
9
Salva o teu povo, Senhor, abençoa os que são teus; cuida deles como um pastor e guarda-os para sempre.
