Por isso, os deixei seguir os seus caprichos e seguir as suas inclinações.

Se o meu povo me tivesse escutado! Se Israel tivesse seguido os meus caminhos!

Num instante, humilharia os seus inimigos, e teria castigado os seus adversários.
16
Os que odeiam o Senhor arrastar-se-iam diante dele. A sua sorte está traçada para sempre.

Deus alimentaria o seu povo com o melhor trigo e os saciaria com mel silvestre.»
