Nebudeš mať iného boha, nebudeš sa klaňať cudziemu bohu!

Ja som Hospodin, tvoj Boh, ja som ťa vyviedol z egyptskej krajiny. Roztvor ústa a ja ich naplním.

Môj ľud však nedbal na môj hlas, Izrael ma neposlúchol.

Nechal som ich teda v tvrdosti ich srdca, nech idú podľa svojich zámerov.

Keby ma bol môj ľud poslúchol, keby bol Izrael chodil po mojich cestách,

rýchlo by som bol pokoril jeho nepriateľov a svojou rukou zasiahol jeho odporcov.
16
Zaliečali by sa mu tí, čo nenávidia Hospodina, a ich osud by trval naveky.
17
Bol by som ich kŕmil tou najlepšou pšenicou a sýtil medom zo skaly.
