Hivi ndivyo, Bwana Mungu wa Isiraeli anavyokuambia Baruku:

Unasema: Yamenipata, kwani Bwana anayaongeza maumivu yangu na kunitia majonzi! Nimechoka kwa kupiga kite, sioni pa kutulia.

Utamwambia hivyo: Hivi ndivyo, Bwana anavyosema: Unaniona mimi, ninavyoyabomoa, niliyoyajenga, ninavyoyang'oa, niliyoyapanda! Vinakuwa hivyo katika nchi yote nzima.

Inakuwaje, wewe ukijitakia mambo makuu? Usijitakie hayo! Unaniona, ninavyowaletea mabaya wote wenye miili ya nyama, ndivyo, asemavyo Bwana; lakini wewe nitakupa roho yako kuwa pato lako mahali po pote, utakapokwenda.
