اب تک پیتل کے ستون، پیتل کا حوض بنام سمندر، پانی کے باسن اُٹھانے والی ہتھ گاڑیاں اور اِس شہر کا باقی بچا ہوا سامان یہیں موجود ہے۔ نبوکدنضر نے اِنہیں اُس وقت اپنے ساتھ نہیں لیا تھا جب وہ یہوداہ کے بادشاہ یہویاکین بن یہویقیم کو یروشلم اور یہوداہ کے تمام شرفا سمیت جلاوطن کر کے ملکِ بابل لے گیا تھا۔ لیکن رب الافواج جو اسرائیل کا خدا ہے اِن چیزوں کے بارے میں فرماتا ہے کہ جتنی بھی قیمتی چیزیں اب تک رب کے گھر، شاہی محل یا یروشلم میں کہیں اَور بچ گئی ہیں وہ بھی ملکِ بابل میں پہنچائی جائیں گی۔ وہیں وہ اُس وقت تک رہیں گی جب تک مَیں اُن پر نظر ڈال کر اُنہیں اِس جگہ واپس نہ لاؤں۔‘ یہ رب کا فرمان ہے۔"
