This verse from Exodus tells the Israelites that God has given them the Sabbath day as a rest day. He provided them with extra bread on the sixth day so they wouldn't need to collect it on the seventh day, the Sabbath. Moses is telling the people to stay in their places on the Sabbath and not go out to gather manna.
