Năm thứ tám đời người trị vì, khi người hãy còn trẻ tuổi, thì người khởi tìm kiếm Ðức Chúa Trời của Ða-vít, tổ phụ người; năm thứ mười hai, người khởi dọn sạch Giu-đa và Giê-ru-sa-lem, trừ bỏ những nơi cao, thần A-sê-ra, tượng chạm và tượng đúc.
