Wena uyakwazi ukudandatheka kwam nokreqo lwam, Uyaziqonda izicamango zam nakude.

Uhambahamba indlela yam nezilili zam, Uyazazi zonke iindlela zam.

Ngokuba akukho lizwi elulwimini lwam Ongalaziyo ke, Yehova.

Wandijikela ngasemva nasemva, Wasibeka phezu kwam isandla sakho;

Kuyandimangalisa ukwazi oko; iphezulu, andikwazi ukufikelela kuyo.

Ndingahambela phi na ukumka emoyeni wakho? Ndingabalekela phi na ukumka ebusweni bakho?

Xa ndinyuke ndaya emazulwini, ulapho; ndawendlala umandlalo wam kwelabafileyo, nanko ukho.

Ukuba ndithe ndathabatha amaphiko esifingo, ndahlala ekupheleni kolwandle;
10
Isandla sakho siya kundikhapha, Esokunene sakho siya kundibamba.

Ukuba ndithe, Okunene, buya kundigubungela ubumnyama; ubusuku bube kukukhanya kum.
12
Ewe, ubumnyama abuyi kukufihla; kodwa ubusuku bukhanya njengemini; kobakho ubumnyama nokukhanya.
13
Ngokuba uzithabathe izintso zam, Wandambesa esizalweni sikama.
14
Ndithanda ukudumisa; ngokuba ndenziwe ngokoyikekayo, ngokubalulekileyo; zibalulekile izenzo zakho; kwaye umphefumlo wam uyazi kakuhle.

Izinto zam azizange zifihleke kuwe xa ndenziwayo emfihlekweni, yaye ndenziwa ngendlela emangalisayo kweyona mimandla isemazantsi omhlaba.
16
Amehlo akho andibona ndigqibelele; kwaye encwadini yakho kubhaliwe konke ukhupho lwam oludalwe emva kwanolunye lwazo.
17
Hayi, ukuxabiseka kweengcinga zakho, Thixo! hayi indlela enkulu ngayo isibalo sayo!
18
Ndizibalile, zininzi ngaphezu kwentlabathi; xa ndivuka ndisenawe.
19
Inene, wena Thixo, uya kubabulala abangendawo;
20
Ngokuba bathetha kakubi ngawe, zalingcikiva igama lakho iintshaba zakho.
21
Yehova, andinabo na abakuthiyayo? Andivi buhlungu na ngenxa yamadoda amakhulu?
22
Ndibathiya ngentiyo ephelelisileyo, Kum mna baziintshaba.
23
Ndigocagoce, Thixo, uyazi intliziyo yam; ndicikide, uzazi iingcinga-ngcinga zam.
24
Kwaye ubone ukuba kukho indlela engalunganga kum, kwaye undikhokelele kumendo wanaphakade.
