«فأجَبْتُمْ وَقُلْتُمْ: ‹أخْطَأنَا إلَى اللهِ ، وَنَحْنُ مُسْتَعِدُّونَ الآنَ لِكَي نَذْهَبَ وَنُحَارِبَ كَمَا أمَرَنَا.› فَجَهَّزتُمْ أنْفُسَكُمْ لِلمَعرَكَةِ، وَظَنَنْتُمْ أنَّهُ مِنَ السَّهلِ أنْ تَصْعَدُوا إلَى المِنْطَقَةِ الجَبَلِيَّةِ.
