فتَوَجَّهَ مِنْ مِديانَ‌ وجاءَ إلى فارانَ‌ وأخذَ معَهُ رِجالا مِنْ هُناكَ وذهَبَ إلى فِرعَونَ مَلِكِ مِصْرَ، فأعطاهُ بَيتا وأرضا وأمرَ لَه بِطَعامٍ.
