Haleluja, chvalte Boha! Chvalte Hospodinovo jméno, chvalte je Hospodinovi služebníci,

kteří sloužíte v Hospodinově domě, i na nádvořích jehodomu.

Chvalte Hospodina, neboť Bůh je dobrý, opěvujte jeho jméno, neboť je nádherné.

Vyvolil si rodinu Jákobovu a lid Izraele jako zvláště mu drahé.

Poznal jsem, že Hospodin je velký, větší nad všechny bohy.

Je svrchovaný, co chce, učiní na nebi i na zemi, v hlubinách moře, i v propastech.

Působí, že z končin země se mraky zvedají, déšť blesky provází a ze svých pokladnic Bůh rozdává vítr.

Prvorozené od člověka až po dobytek v Egyptě pobil.

Mnohé zázraky a rány seslal na Egypt, kvůli faraonovi a jeho služebníkům.

Pobil mnohé národy a zahubil mocné krále:

krále Emorejců Sichona a bášanského krále Oga, a rozvrátil kenaanská království.

Jejich země dal do vlastnictví Izraeli, svému lidu.

Hospodine, tvé jméno je věčné, Hospodine, po všechny časy budeš připomínán.

Hospodin obhájí svůj lid, svým služebníkům bude milostiv.

Modly národů jsou ze stříbra a zlata, vyrobila je lidská ruka.
16
Mají ústa a nemluví, oči, ale nevidí.
17
Mají uši a neslyší, není v nich život, nedýchají.

Každý, kdo si tvoří modly a skládá v nich svou naději, bude stejně bezmocný.
19
Dome Izraelův, dobrořeč Hospodinu, dome Áronův, dobrořeč Hospodinu.
20
Dome Léviův, dobrořeč Hospodinu, všichni, kdo se bojíte Hospodina, dobrořečte Hospodinu.
21
Požehnaný Hospodin ze Sijóna, který přebývá v Jeruzalémě. Haleluja, chvalte Hospodina!
