En el año que vino Thartan en Azoto, quando lo embió Sargon rey de Aſſyria, y peleó contra Azoto, y la tomó:

En aquel tiempo habló Iehoua por Isayas hijo de Amos, diziendo: Ve, y quita el sacco de tus lomos: y descalça los çapatos de tus pies: y hizolo anſi, andando desnudo, y descalço.

Y dixo Iehoua, De la manera que anduuo mi sieruo Isayas desnudo y descalço tres años, señal y pronostico ſobre Egyp to, y ſobre Ethiopia:

Ansi lleuará el rey de Aſſyria la captiuidad de Egypto, y la transmigracion de Ethiopia, de moços, y de viejos, desnuda, y descalça, y descubiertas las nalgas para verguença de Egypto.

Y espantarsehan, y auergonçarsehan de Ethiopia ſu eſperança, y de Egypto ſu gloria.
6
Y dirá en aquel dia el morador desta Iſla, Mirad que tal fué nueſtra eſperança, dõde nos acogimos por socorro, para ſer libres de la preſencia del rey de Aſſyria. Y como eſcaparemos?
