Ansi dixo Iehoua; Heaqui que suben aguas de la parte del Aquilon, y tornarsehan en arroyo, y alagarán la tierra y ſu plenitud, ciudades y moradores deellas: y los hõbres clamarán, y todo morador dela tierra aullará.

Por el sonido de las vñas de ſus fuertes cauallos, por el alboroto de ſus carros, por el estruendo de ſus ruedas. Los padres no mirarõ à los hijos por la flaqueza de las manos.

Por el dia que viene para destruycion de todos los Palestinos, para talar à Tyro y à Sidon, à todo ayudador que quedó biuo: porque Iehoua destruye à los Palestinos, àl resto de la Iſſa de Cappadocia.

Sobre Gaza vino meſſadura, Ascalon fue cortada, y el resto de ſu valle: haſta quãdo te arañarás?

O cuchillo de Iehoua, haſta quando no reposarás? Metete en tu vayna, repoſa, y calla.

Como reposarás? porque Iehoua lo ha embiado en Ascalon, y à la ribera de la mar, alli lo puso.
