Y Respondió Iob, y dixo,

Oy tambien hablaré con amargura: y ſerá mas graue mi llaga que mi gemido.

Quien dieſſe que lo conocieſſe, y lo hallaſſe, yo yria haſta ſu silla.

Ordenaria juyzio delante del: y mi boca hinchiria de argumentos.

Yo sabria loque el me respõderia: y entenderia loque me dixeſſe.

Por vẽtura pleytearia cõmigo cõ multitud de fuerça? No: antes el la pondria en mi.

Alli el recto diſputaria con el: y eſcaparia para siempre del que me condena.

Heaqui, yo yré àl Oriente, y no le hallaré: y àl Occidente, y no lo entenderé.

Si àl Norte el obrâre, yo no lo veré: àl Mediodia ſe esconderá, y no lo veré.

¶ Mas el conoció mi camino: prouo me, y ſali como oro.

Mis pies tomaron ſu rastro: guardé ſu camino, y no me aparté.

Del mandamiento de ſus labios nunca me quité: las palabras de ſu boca guardé, mas que mi comida.

Y ſi el ſe determina en vna coſa, quienlo apartará? Su anima deſſeó, y hizo.

Portanto el acabará loque me es neceſſario: y muchas coſas como estas ay en el.
15
Por loqual yo me espantaré delante de ſu rostro: consideraré, y temerlohé.
16
Dios há enternecido mi coraçon: y el Omnipotente me há espantado.
17
Porque yo no fue cortado delante de las tinieblas, y cubrió con escuridad mi rostro?
