La Sabiduria edificó ſu caſa; labró ſus ſiete colunas.
2
Mató ſu victima, templó ſu vino, y puso ſu mesa.
3
Embió ſus criadas, clamó ſobre lo mas alto de la ciudad.
4
Qualquiera simple, venga acá. A los faltos de entendimiento dixo,
5
Venid, comed mi pan; y beued del vino que yo he templado.
6
Dexad las simplezas, y biuid; y andad por el camino de la intelligencia.
7
El que castiga àl burlador, afrenta toma para ſi: y el que reprehende al impio, ſu mancha.
8
No castigues àl burlador, porque no te aborrezca: castiga àl sabio, y amarteha.
9
Da àl sabio, y ſerá mas sabio; enseña àl juſto, y añidirá enseñamiento.
10
El Temor de Iehoua es el principio de la ſabiduria; y la sciencia de los sanctos es intelligencia.
11
Porque por mi ſe aumentarán tus dias; y años de vida ſe te añidirán.
12
Si fueres sabio, para ti lo serás; mas ſi fueres burlador, tu solo pagaras.
13
¶ La muger loca, alborotadora, simple. y ignorante.
14
Assientase ſobre vna silla à la puerta de ſu caſa, en lo alto de la ciudad;
15
Para llamar à los que paſſan por el camino; que van por ſus caminos derechos.
16
Qualquiera simple, venga acá. A los faltos de entendimiento dixo,
17
Las aguas hurtadas ſon dulces; y el pan encubierto es suaue.
18
Y no saben, que alli están los muertos: y ſus combidados están en los profundos de la ſepultura. Porque el que ſe llegàre à ella, decendirà los infiernos: y el que de ella ſe apartàre, serà saluo.
