El Señor me dijo: —Vete de nuevo y ama a una mujer amada por otro y adúltera, porque así también el Señor ama a los israelitas, aunque ellos se vuelven a otros dioses y saborean los pasteles de pasas.

La compré, en efecto, por quince siclos de plata y una medida y media de cebada.

Y le dije: —Durante mucho tiempo permanecerás conmigo sin prostituirte ni entregarte a otro hombre, y yo me portaré de la misma manera contigo.

Porque durante mucho tiempo los israelitas estarán sin rey ni príncipe, sin sacrificios ni estelas, sin efod ni terafim.
