Vino a mí palabra de YHVH, diciendo:

Hijo de hombre: ¿Qué es el leño de la vid más que cualquier otro leño de los árboles del bosque?

¿Sacan de él madera para cualquier labor? ¿Sacan acaso estacas para colgar vasijas?

Si lo echan a la lumbre para cebarla, Y el fuego le devora las puntas, Y el centro queda chamuscado, ¿Servirá para algo?

Si cuando estaba entero no servía para obra alguna, ¡Cuánto menos ahora, devorado por el fuego y chamuscado! ¿Servirá para algo?

Por tanto, así dice Adonay YHVH: Como el leño de la vid entre los árboles del bosque, Que eché a la lumbre para cebarla, Así echaré a los moradores de Jerusalem.

Pondré mi rostro contra ellos: ¿Escaparon del fuego?, ¡Pues el fuego los consumirá!, Y sabréis que Yo soy YHVH, Cuando ponga mi rostro contra ellos.

Convertiré su tierra en asolamiento, Por cuanto cometieron infidelidad, dice Adonay YHVH.
