Luego oí una voz que me decía: “Tú, hombre, ponte de pie, que te voy a hablar.”

Mientras aquella voz me hablaba, entró en mí el poder de Dios, e hizo que me pusiera de pie. Entonces oí que la voz que me hablaba

seguía diciendo: “A ti, hombre, te voy a enviar a los israelitas, un pueblo desobediente que se ha rebelado contra mí. Ellos y sus antepasados se han levantado contra mí hasta este mismo día.

También sus hijos son tercos y de cabeza dura. Por eso te voy a enviar a ellos, para que les digas: ‘Esto dice el Señor.’

Y ya sea que te hagan caso o no, pues son gente rebelde, sabrán que hay un profeta en medio de ellos.

Tú, hombre, no tengas miedo de ellos ni de lo que te digan, aunque te sientas como rodeado de espinos o viviendo entre alacranes. No tengas miedo de lo que te digan ni te asustes ante el gesto de su cara, por muy rebeldes que sean.

Tú comunícales mis palabras, tanto si te hacen caso como si no, pues son muy rebeldes.
8
Atiende bien lo que te digo y no seas rebelde como ellos. Abre la boca y come lo que te voy a dar.”

Entonces vi una mano extendida hacia mí, que tenía un escrito enrollado.

La mano lo desenrolló delante de mí. Estaba escrito por ambos lados: eran lamentos, ayes de dolor y amenazas.
