Bendito sea el Señor, que es mi roca. Él me da fortaleza y destreza en la batalla.

Él es mi amoroso aliado y mi fortaleza, mi torre de seguridad y mi libertador, mi escudo y mi refugio. Él es quien pone los pueblos a mis pies.

Señor, ¿qué es el mortal para que lo tomes en cuenta? ¿Qué es el ser humano para que lo cuides?
4
Porque el ser humano no es más que un soplo; sus días son sombras pasajeras.
5
Abre los cielos y desciende. Toca los montes para que echen humo.
6
Libera tus relámpagos y dispersa a tus enemigos; libera tus flechas y dispérsalos.
7
Extiende tu brazo desde el cielo, y rescátame; líbrame de las aguas profundas, del poder de mis enemigos.
8
La boca de ellos está llena de mentiras; juran decir la verdad, pero mienten.
9
Te cantaré un canto nuevo, Dios; te cantaré alabanzas con el arpa de diez cuerdas.
10
Porque tú das la victoria a los reyes. Tú eres el que rescatará a tu siervo David.
11
Sálvame de la espada fatal. Rescátame del poder de mis enemigos. Sus bocas están llenas de mentiras; juran decir la verdad, pero mienten.
12
Que nuestros hijos crezcan en su juventud, como plantas frondosas; que sean nuestras hijas como columnas labradas para adornar un palacio.
13
Que nuestros graneros se llenen con toda clase de cosechas. Que en nuestros campos los rebaños aumenten por millares, por decenas de millares.
14
Que nuestros bueyes lleven cargas pesadas; Que no haya grietas en los muros, ni tengamos que huir, Que no haya gritos de angustia en nuestras calles.
15
¡Dichosos aquellos que tienen todo esto! ¡Dichoso el pueblo cuyo Dios es el Señor!
